Lydia's House

Lydia's House, an old bioclimatic cave-house, was renovated in 2010 by Emmanouil Vasilakis, architect and owner, who named it after his daughter. Using high quality materials combined with the traditional methods of Santorini's technicians, every little detail was handled with great taste and attention. The renovation unveiled a dream house of 93 m2, completely adapted to the unique scenery of Santorini, with excellent minimal aesthetic and fully functional interior spaces.

Visiting Lydia's house you will experience a familiar warmth and serenity that will make you feel like home. Located among the last row of houses on the cliffs, Lydia's House is a small gem, offering a breathtaking, unobstructed, panoramic view towards the Caldera, the traditional village of Oia, the Aegean sea and the other cliff-edge villages.

The terrace on the back side of Lydia's House is adjacent to the main pedestrian street of Oia with all the shops, restaurants and galleries. That gives you the privacy that you need but also the easy accessibility to the central square (3 min walk) where you can find bus and taxi terminal. The "Goulas" area, which is famous for Oia's sunset view is just a minute away.
